The Vienna Greens see pressure on the Viennese housing market continuing to grow as a result of tourist short-term rentals. Party leader Peter Kraus and parliamentary group leader Georg Prack spoke on Tuesday of an ongoing dynamic through which housing space is being lost to the city. They pointed to the city's announcement that it would introduce a separate register for landlords, which was supposed to be in place before the summer holidays, but has not yet been presented.
