AT&S's record run continues
The Vienna Stock Exchange ended the trading day with gains on Monday. The ATX closed up 0.26 percent at 6,594.82 points. The broader ATX Prime rose 0.91 percent to 3,241.86 points. The Austrian leading index thus continued its friendly trend from the beginning of the week.
The biggest driver in the Prime Market was once again the share of circuit board manufacturer AT&S. The stock continued its record hunt and gained around six percent again. According to market observers, the background is the persistently strong demand from the semiconductor sector. SK Hynix, which describes itself as the world's second-largest memory chip manufacturer, has in this environment now become the most valuable listed company in South Korea, displacing Samsung from first place.
