The Diamond League final in athletics takes place on Thursday evening at Zurich's Letzigrund, and Swiss television SRF broadcasts the event live in its stream and via a live ticker.
The program begins at 7:12 p.m. with the men's pole vault and is expected to end around 10 p.m. after the men's 200 metres. A total of 14 disciplines are on the card, including sprints, hurdles, middle distance, technical events and a wheelchair race. The Letzigrund stadium has hosted the Weltklasse Zürich meeting for years and is regarded as one of the most atmospheric arenas on the Diamond League circuit.
In the men's shot put, Jaroslawa Mahuchikh is expected, although according to the preview she had a foul attempt and is led by Geist. In the men's 110 metres hurdles, Jason Joseph is one of the favourites; the Swiss runner has already stood out this season with strong times. The organisers are expecting a top-class field, which also includes Alison dos Santos in the 400 metres hurdles.
