Aurélie and Ibo Win “Germany’s Next Topmodel” 2026 in Glamorous Finale

Among the men, Ibo from Münster outshone his two final competitors: 31-year-old sales consultant Tony from Berlin and 34-year-old administrator Godfrey from Vienna.

“I still can’t grasp it. I am so incredibly happy,” Aurélie said in an Instagram video that was made directly after the show’s taping in February. Ibo showed a fighting spirit in a similar clip: “I’m just proud and I want to step on the gas now and keep going.”

The show had already been taped in Los Angeles in February. The fact that the winners were known before the broadcast did little to diminish the show’s suspense.

Hollywood Glamour on Stage

Sharon Stone opened the finale with a bang. The Hollywood icon stood up in the front row and greeted the audience with the words: “Welcome to Hollywood!”

Heidi Klum led through the evening with her usual poise. Beside her on the celebrity-filled sofa sat fashion designers Dean and Dan Caten of Dsquared, as well as supermodel Winnie Harlow.

Winnie Harlow was thrilled with Aurélie’s performance: “You have a killer walk,” she praised the candidate. Sharon Stone also favored Aurélie and said: “Your movements are powerful and elegant.”

Thomas Hayo, a long-time companion of the show, was also part of the jury. During an action-packed film challenge, he praised Godfrey’s performance: He managed the illusion “perfectly.”

Demi Lovato heated up the atmosphere with her hit “Confident.” Later, Nicole Scherzinger, frontwoman of the Pussycat Dolls, performed “With one look” from the Broadway success “Sunset Boulevard.”

Sharon Stone was taken with Godfrey’s “beautiful face” and predicted a great future for him in the beauty sector. She found Ibo’s performance “irresistible.”

The decision drew near when Heidi Klum invited the previous year’s winners, Daniela and Moritz, onto the stage. They brought the bulging suitcases containing the prize money of 100,000 euros each.

The Path to the Title

Heidi Klum built the suspense once more: “Only one can make it.” Then she announced Aurélie as the winner. Tears flowed from the young woman – she had jokingly referred to herself as the “crybaby of the season.”

Through their victory, Aurélie and Ibo secure not only the prize money but also the cover of the German edition of “Harper’s Bazaar.” A shoot for the magazine had already taken place before the finale.

The fact that the magazine had already delivered its new issue to subscribers, featuring the presumed winners, sparked speculation beforehand. ProSieben had initially spoken of strategies to fuel speculation.

Over 16 weeks, Heidi Klum had presented her models with ever new challenges – whether in front of the camera, on the runway, in designer outfits, or underwater. In the end, the two who most convinced the jury prevailed.

With the victory of Aurélie and Ibo, a season that caused a stir with prominent guests and spectacular tasks comes to an end. The two winners now launch their careers as celebrated topmodels.
