VIENNA, 27 August 2026

The Austrian real estate group CA Immo slipped into the red in the first half of 2026, while Group CEO Keegan Viscius simultaneously spoke of a "difficult market environment" and at the same time "stable operating performance."

The Vienna-listed real estate group CA Immo reported a loss in the first half of 2026. As the company announced, several valuation effects and a persistently challenging environment weighed on the result. This ended a phase in which the company had most recently been only narrowly in positive territory.

Valuation losses weigh on results

Group CEO Keegan Viscius personally put the figures into context in a press release. He spoke of a "difficult market environment" shaped by economic uncertainty and high interest rates, but at the same time pointed to "stable operating performance." Rental income — that is, revenue from the leasing of offices, hotels, and apartments — developed largely as planned, according to the company.
