The majority of crypto investors have not divested their investments despite the significant drop in Bitcoin's price at the beginning of the year, as the new "Crypto Survey" from consulting firm Strategy& shows.
According to the annual international "Crypto Survey" from consulting firm Strategy&, only around 17 percent of investors reduced their investments in January and February, when cryptocurrencies lost value particularly rapidly. On the contrary: 20 percent even increased their positions, and almost 36 percent initially sold – but bought again after the price slides.
The company, which belongs to the auditing firm PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), had 2,500 crypto investors in five countries surveyed in March and April: the USA, Germany, the Netherlands, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates. Two-thirds of respondents are retail investors who have spent a maximum of 10,000 US dollars or euros on crypto purchases.
