The diesel price in Germany fell below the level of the last day before the war over the weekend, while the fuel discount expires at the end of June and negotiations between the USA and Iran show initial progress.

On Friday, the diesel price in Germany reached the lowest level since the start of the war: 1.733 euros per liter. That was 1.3 cents less than on the last day before the war. On Sunday, the price per liter was still at 1.738 euros, according to the report, and thus 0.8 cents below the pre-war level. Diesel thus traded below the level last recorded before the military conflict in the Middle East for the first time.
