In an explosion near the Ukrainian Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant, one person was killed and 15 others, some seriously, were injured, according to the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) in Vienna.
As the IAEA in Vienna announced, citing the Moscow-installed NPP management, one person was killed and 15 others were injured, some seriously. The agency spoke of a drone explosion in the immediate vicinity of the plant.
The Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant, the largest nuclear power plant in Europe, has been located in an area near the front line since the beginning of Russia's war of aggression against Ukraine. The facility has repeatedly been the target of drone attacks and shelling. The IAEA maintains a permanent mission there to monitor nuclear safety.
