In the greater Graz area, investigators from the Regional Court for Criminal Matters Graz, the Public Prosecutor's Office Graz, EGS, and the Cobra tactical unit have dismantled a drug ring after approximately 1.5 years of investigations and reported 15 suspects aged between 20 and 31.
According to the investigators' announcement on Friday in Graz, the group was, according to the indictment, focused on trafficking narcotics in the districts of Leibnitz and Deutschlandsberg. Over a period of about 1.5 years, the police monitored residential addresses, supply routes, and contacts in Vienna and in Styria. A total of 15 accused persons were identified, 14 of whom are in custody.
During the searches, the operation forces secured around 20,000 euros in cash, along with approximately 3 kilograms of marijuana, about 2 kilograms of amphetamine, about 1 kilogram of cocaine, about 1 kilogram of hashish, around 800 grams of heroin, and about 800 XTC tablets. The investigators also found various weapons.
