An eight-year-old girl fell from the third floor of a residential building on Demmergasse in Vienna's Floridsdorf district on Thursday and was taken to a hospital after receiving emergency medical first aid.

According to its own statements, the Vienna professional rescue service was alerted to the operation on Demmergasse in Vienna's 21st municipal district shortly before 5:00 p.m. A spokesman for the professional rescue service, Andreas Huber, reported the incident on Thursday and confirmed the child's transport to a hospital. Huber initially provided no further information on the girl's state of health.

Operation on Demmergasse

The fall from the third floor occurred in a densely built residential area in Floridsdorf, located in the north of Vienna. Local residents reported that rescue vehicles and police arrived quickly at the scene. Demmergasse was partially closed to traffic during the operation.
