Energy company EnBW has completed the installation of its offshore wind farm He Dreiht in the North Sea and, according to its own statements, has thus finished building the largest German wind farm to date off the coast of Helgoland.
With the symbolic final lift on Monday, a multi-year construction project comes to an end for EnBW. He Dreiht has an installed capacity of 960 megawatts and, according to the company, is expected to supply around 1.1 million households with electricity. The wind farm is located in the North Sea, approximately 85 kilometers northwest of the island of Helgoland.
