On late Thursday evening, a roe deer fell into a private swimming pool in St. Florian in the Linz-Land district and had to be pulled from the water by the fire department.

On Thursday evening at around 10 p.m., the incident occurred in St. Florian in the Linz-Land district. According to the fire department, a roe deer had jumped into a private swimming pool and was then unable to exit the basin on its own.

The animal, which was already in a life-threatening situation because it was gradually cooling down in the water and in danger of drowning, was quickly recovered by the emergency services after the alarm was raised. The fire department acted routinely and brought the roe deer to safety.

According to the responsible fire department, the information about the incident came from a report by the online portal Krone Multimedia, which had been the first to report on it. According to that report, the owner of the pool had discovered the roe deer and immediately alerted the emergency services.
