Following an overnight framework agreement between the US and Iran, the first Iranian ships have passed the US naval blockade in the Gulf of Oman without incident, according to Iranian state media and the ship-tracking service TankerTrackers.

The first Iranian ships crossed the area in the Gulf of Oman affected by the US naval blockade the previous evening. According to Iranian state media, these are the first Iranian ships to pass through the blocked zone after the US-Iran agreement. The ship-tracking service TankerTrackers reported on the platform X that a supertanker loaded with two million barrels of Iranian crude oil had broken through the US Navy's blockade line.
