Munich, 21 July 2026
Garmin has introduced the Cirqa, a screenless smart band that will be available from 24 July 2026 for 199.99 euros and positions itself as a more affordable alternative to the Whoop tracker.
The Cirqa Smart Band is sold through the Garmin website and costs 199.99 euros according to the manufacturer. Garmin also emphasizes that the smart band operates "ganz ohne verpflichtendes Abonnement". This distinguishes the device from the subscription-based business model of competitor Whoop, which according to its own statements is heading toward an IPO as a 10-billion-dollar company.
Price and Availability
In terms of appearance, Garmin opts for a minimalist design: the Cirqa is a wristband without a display, worn on the wrist as a fabric band with sensors. The actual tracking module sits in a 24-millimeter-wide nylon strap. The Cirqa is available in the colors "Schwarz", "French Gray", "Malve", and "Kapitänsblau".
