Google unveils new Pixel 11 models, focusing on AI features and faster night photography

Specifically, according to the manufacturer, the Pixel 11 Pro XL uses a 50-megapixel main sensor with dual-PD autofocus. The ultra-wide and telephoto cameras use quad-PD autofocus, complemented by optical image stabilization (OIS) and LED flash. With this combination, Google aims to deliver better results especially in low light and with moving subjects.

Prices and Storage Variants at a Glance

With the new series, Google is pushing prices further up. The Pixel 11 in the 256 GB variant costs 999 euros, and 1,129 euros with 512 GB. The Pixel 11 Pro starts at 1,199 euros for 256 GB and goes up to 1,589 euros for the 1 TB variant. The Pixel 11 Pro XL is available from 1,399 euros, with the 1 TB version costing 1,789 euros. The foldable Pixel 11 Pro Fold starts at 1,999 euros and is the most expensive model in the lineup at 2,389 euros in the top configuration.

Alongside the smartphones, Google also introduced the Pixel Watch 5 in two sizes. The 41-millimeter variant with Wi-Fi costs 419 euros, and 519 euros with 4G LTE. The larger 45-millimeter version is priced at 449 euros (Wi-Fi) or 549 euros (4G LTE). Google is positioning the watch as a complement to the smartphone portfolio, without placing it at the center of the presentation.

Observers also see the announcement as a response to competitive pressure in the high-end market. While Apple has in recent years primarily scored with its own chipsets and a closed ecosystem, Google is placing greater emphasis on AI features and camera hardware.
