Around 630 passengers on a Czech Railways (České dráhy) train traveling from Hamburg to Prague were stranded for hours on Saturday evening without air conditioning on a train that had come to a standstill in the Prignitz region of Brandenburg after a storm.

A tree had fallen onto an overhead power line during a storm early on Saturday evening, and the Czech Railways (České dráhy) train, which was supposed to travel from Hamburg to Prague, lost its traction power. Without power, the air conditioning also failed and the doors remained locked, as reported. The emergency services screened the approximately 630 passengers.
