The 25-year-old Malian midfielder Ismaila Coulibaly has left Austrian football champions LASK after a year and a half and has moved to RAAL La Louvière in the Belgian top flight.
Coulibaly joined LASK on a free transfer in January 2025 from English second-division side Sheffield United and made 21 Bundesliga appearances for LASK on the way to the title last season. In total, the midfielder made 39 competitive appearances for the Upper Austrians.
Already about a week before the official transfer, Coulibaly was absent from LASK's first training session in order to push the move through. The 25-year-old midfielder from Mali is now moving to a country he already knows from previous stations.
Known from Belgium
From 2020 to 2022, Coulibaly played in Belgium and made a good name for himself there. With the move to RAAL La Louvière, he returns to the Jupiler Pro League, where he was already able to gain experience at a young age.
