Israeli soldiers entered the southern Syrian town of Abdin in the province of Daraa with several military vehicles on Sunday, set up checkpoints and searched residents.

Operation in Abdin

According to the Syrian state news agency SANA, the Israeli army entered the town of Abdin with several military vehicles. The soldiers set up checkpoints at the entrance to the town, searched houses and questioned residents. A resident confirmed to the German Press Agency (dpa) on Monday that the soldiers controlled the entrance to the town and partially searched residents.
