The Israeli army has carried out an attack in southern Lebanon in which, according to Lebanese reports, two people were killed – even though a ceasefire between Israel and Hezbollah is in force.
In fact, a ceasefire is in place between Israel and the terrorist organization Hezbollah in Lebanon. In recent days, despite an agreed pause in fighting between Israel and the militantly Islamist Hezbollah, there have been repeated reports of Israeli attacks in southern Lebanon. The NNA news agency now reported that, according to official sources today, three people were killed in an Israeli airstrike on a motorcycle in southern Lebanon, and one person was injured.
The Israeli army confirmed the attack upon inquiry, without providing further details. According to the report, a projectile struck a car. NNA also reported that the Israeli army had burned down houses in the town of Ain Arab near the border with Israel. The Israeli military did not initially comment on this.
