Ceasefire Violations and Accusations

The current ceasefire agreement, set to expire on Sunday, permits Israel to take defensive measures but prohibits offensive operations on Lebanese soil. Both sides accuse each other of violations. The Israeli military has previously accused Hezbollah of misusing medical teams. Humanitarian Toll

Regional Implications

Hezbollah, a close ally of Iran, has intensified attacks following U.S.-Israeli strikes. A Lebanese government official criticized Iran's Revolutionary Guards for "rechtswidrige Handlungen in offener Missachtung der Entscheidungen der libanesischen Regierung" and dragging Lebanon into war.
