Jodie Foster publicly speculated at the Aspen Ideas Festival about whether last summer's successful film "F1" starring Brad Pitt may have been written by an artificial intelligence.
Foster's Critique in Her Own Words
At the Aspen Ideas Festival, a U.S. ideas forum, the Oscar-winning actress commented on developments in the film industry. Foster said that while watching "F1," she couldn't help but think: "F1" was made by an AI. Or was it? She added that she didn't mean this disparagingly, but went on to say: "I mean, the structure followed exactly what you learn in school. The actors deliver their lines exactly as they would be written if a computer were to write exactly what would be right for that moment."
