Marc Márquez celebrated his tenth MotoGP victory at the German Grand Prix at the Sachsenring, equaling the 41-year-old record of Giacomo Agostini, while a new spectator record was also set. The Spanish Ducati rider dominated the race from the start and drove to victory in commanding fashion in front of almost 100,000 spectators on race Sunday.

Second and third places went to the two Aprilia riders, Ai Ogura from Japan, 1.996 seconds behind, and Spain's Raúl Fernández, 5.104 seconds back. Championship leader Jorge Martin had to settle for fifth place and thus missed the chance to extend his lead further.
