At the request of the federal states, Steffen Bilger intends to campaign for a nationwide rollout of mobile phone cameras now that a corresponding paper has been submitted for the transport ministers’ conference in Hohenschwangau.
According to a report in the “Rheinische Post,” a paper for the transport ministers’ conference in Hohenschwangau, Bavaria, was released just under two weeks ago. It concerns the nationwide rollout of mobile phone cameras, meaning fixed installations that can detect holding a mobile phone while driving.
Steffen Bilger announced that he would campaign for this. In his exact words, he explained: “Auch auf Wunsch der Bundesländer werde ich mich dafür stark machen.” In doing so, he takes up the states’ demand and indicates his support for a uniform set of rules.
