Motorcyclist dies after collision with three cars on the Gerlos Federal Highway

For reasons yet unknown, the motorcyclist collided sideways with the car of a 21-year-old woman from Pinzgau, who was traveling in the same direction at the same time. Subsequently, the collision involved two oncoming vehicles.

The 44-year-old sustained such severe injuries in the crash that he succumbed to his injuries at the scene of the accident. Emergency medical services and police were alerted; further details regarding the cause of death were not initially released.

Since the accident occurred in the immediate vicinity of the local fire station, the firefighters present there, who had noticed the accident, immediately provided first aid and secured the scene.
