Narvaez Triumphs in Giro d'Italia Stage 11 as Eulalio Holds Lead

Felix Gall of Austria continues to impress, holding fourth place overall at 2:24 behind Eulalio. He finished the stage alongside compatriot Gregor Mühlberger, who sits 23rd in the general classification.

Young Italian rider Giulio Pellizzari maintained his top-ten position, currently ninth overall at 3:36 behind the leader. Canada's Derek Gee-West sits just ahead of him in eighth place at 3:34.

The stage from Porcari to Chiavari along Italy's western coast proved less decisive than expected, with most contenders content to conserve energy ahead of tougher mountain stages to come.

Tobias Bayer of Austria finished well back in the stage, crossing the line 14:10 after Narvaez. The result didn't significantly impact his overall position in the race.

Looking Ahead

Narvaez's victory marks his first stage win at this year's Giro, adding to his successful season that has already included two other victories. The INEOS Grenadiers rider demonstrated impressive finishing speed to take the win.

The race continues with Stage 12, a 175-kilometer route from Imperia to Novi Ligure featuring only two third-category climbs and a mostly flat finish. This should provide another opportunity for sprinters before the race hits the high mountains.

Eulalio will aim to defend his slim lead over Vingegaard in the coming days, with the Danish rider expected to make his move in the high-altitude stages. The Portuguese rider has surprised many by maintaining the Maglia Rosa this deep into the race.

The general classification remains tight behind the top two, with several riders within striking distance should the leaders falter in the mountains. Gall, Pellizzari and Gee-West all remain in contention for top finishes.
