The public prosecutor's office has filed an additional charge of document forgery against Jessica Moretti, co-owner of the bar Le Constellation in Crans-Montana, which was destroyed in a fire disaster.
As the public prosecutor's office announced, the new charge was communicated on Friday evening after several hours of questioning of Jessica Moretti and her husband Jacques Moretti in Sion. Proceedings are already underway against both for negligent homicide, negligent bodily harm, and negligent arson. The new indictment is directed exclusively against Jessica Moretti as co-owner of the establishment.
Specifically, the prosecution accuses the defendant of having manipulated an invoice from 2015. The invoice is related to the purchase of foam materials during renovation work at the bar. According to the investigators' findings, the ceiling of the establishment was lined with foam material, which is now at the center of the investigation.
