The 90s hit "Wonderwall" by British band Oasis, featuring brothers Liam and Noel Gallagher, has become the unofficial anthem of the England team led by Harry Kane at the World Cup – even though the Gallagher brothers themselves maintain a divided relationship with the song.
The fact that this particular song accompanies players and fans at tournaments is a story in itself. "Wonderwall" comes from Oasis' second album, "(What's The Story) Morning Glory?" released in 1995. With hits like this, Liam and Noel Gallagher stormed the world's stages. Both support Manchester City in club football. The brothers, however, are known not only for their music but also for their numerous differences, which culminated in the band's dissolution in 2009 – until 2025, when the Gallaghers thrilled the masses again with a much-noticed reunion tour.
