Cincinnati, 12 August 2026
Austrian tennis player Sebastian Ofner has been eliminated in the qualifying for the ATP Masters 1000 tournament in Cincinnati, suffering his fourth defeat in a row.
Following the loss in Cincinnati, the Austrian's current losing streak stands at four matches without a win. Previously, Ofner had lost his opening match at the tournament stops in Bastad and Kitzbühel and had also already been eliminated in the qualifying in Montreal.
The slump in form comes at a time when Ofner is trying to stabilize his position in the ATP world rankings and qualify for the main draws of tournaments beyond the Grand Slams. Another qualifying defeat means that he will be unable to collect any ranking points or prize money from the main draw in Cincinnati, and instead heads into next week with another zero on his record.
