Pediatrician Charged With 130 Counts of Child Sexual Abuse in Germany

In a statement, the clinic group said: "Die von der Staatsanwaltschaft im Zuge der Anklageerhebung genannte Schwere der Vorwürfe und die nun auch uns bekanntgewordene Dimension erschüttert uns zutiefst." ("The severity of the allegations cited by the public prosecutor's office in the course of the indictment and the now-known scale deeply shocks us.") The organization added that child protection measures have since been integrated into employment contracts for new hires.

The accused remains in pretrial detention as the case proceeds. Prosecutors have not disclosed further details about the victims or specific circumstances, citing ongoing legal proceedings. The Landgericht Potsdam (Potsdam Regional Court) will oversee the trial, though a date has not yet been set.
