Eine kurzfristige Sperrung sei je nach Entwicklung aber möglich, sagte ein Bahnsprecher". The central connection to local public transport therefore remained in place for the time being.
With regard to the situation around the CSD, surrounding stations were also on heightened alert. Passengers were asked to pay attention to announcements and to plan for possible closures.
The organizers stressed that the demonstration was intended to proceed peacefully. Alongside the music parade, numerous observers, journalists, and security forces followed the course along the route.

In recent years, Rave the Planet had established itself as a major event of Berlin's electronic music scene. This year's edition was visibly marked by the attack, without disavowing its character as a demonstration for freedom and cultural diversity.
The city of Berlin had announced in advance that it would closely coordinate the security authorities. This included consultations between the police, transport operators, and the Berlin fire department.
Overall, the mood on the demonstration route remained calm and focused after the start of the minute of silence. The organizers intended to continue the program with several stages over the course of the afternoon.
Should the security situation change, further closures around Brandenburg Gate could become necessary, according to the railway spokesperson. An official body also emphasized that the demonstration itself was not being called into question.
