In a roof collapse in the Pakistani city of Lahore, at least 14 children who were in the building at the time of the disaster have been killed, according to authorities.

According to police, the children were between four and 16 years old. The exact circumstances under which they were inside the house at the time of the collapse are still under investigation. According to the Pakistani newspaper "Dawn," part of the building was still under construction.

According to authorities, the collapsed structure was a multi-story building in a densely populated neighborhood of Lahore. Rescue teams worked for hours after the disaster to recover possible survivors from the rubble. Eyewitnesses from the neighborhood also took part in the search efforts, as local media reported.
