In the early hours of July 30, 2026, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky reported the consequences of a new Russian attack wave via social media. According to his statements, "dozens of ordinary residential buildings, civilian businesses, and infrastructure facilities" had been destroyed or damaged. In doing so, he summarized one of the most consequential attack series in recent memory.
According to official Ukrainian sources, the strikes hit several major cities and regions of the country. Among the affected areas were the capital Kyiv, the western Ukrainian city of Lviv, the central Ukrainian industrial city of Kryvyi Rih, as well as the Poltava region. Residents reported explosions in several waves and impacts from rockets.
