Russia once again attacked the Ukrainian capital Kyiv with ballistic missiles overnight into Tuesday, according to Ukrainian authorities.
Russia once again attacked the Ukrainian capital Kyiv with ballistic missiles overnight into Tuesday. As Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated, the matter concerns the construction of a new missile defense system. Air defense was activated. According to Ukrainian authorities, several explosions were heard in the city center.
Fires broke out in at least two districts, partly caused by falling debris from intercepted missiles. There were initially no reports of casualties or major damage. Kyiv reported deaths on a freighter near Odesa.
