Russian strikes across the Kyiv region killed 15 people and injured dozens more, Ukrainian emergency services said on Wednesday, with rescuers continuing to work through damaged warehouses, logistics centers and residential areas.

The toll was confirmed by Ukraine's State Emergency Service, which reported 15 dead and more than 40 injured after a wave of overnight strikes hit the Kyiv region. Rescue crews were dispatched to multiple sites across oblast districts, including areas around the capital and the town of Bucha.

Serhii Beskrestnov, a Ukrainian official who has previously shared operational updates during Russian attacks, described the scale of the bombardment in a Facebook post. He wrote in Spanish: "El enemigo está atacando todo indiscriminadamente: almacenes minoristas, instalaciones de almacenamiento de alimentos, centros logísticos, empresas, almacenes de materiales de construcción" — translating to: "The enemy is attacking everything indiscriminately: retail warehouses, food storage facilities, logistics centers, businesses, construction materials warehouses."
