Dublin, November 2, 2026
Ryanair described higher kerosene costs as a burden on profits in Dublin on November 2, 2026, and announced a cost-cutting program to counteract the effects.
Ryanair expects its business outlook for the next 12 months to be weighed down by a likely high oil price. The company said it would therefore have to tighten its belt. Lower costs are the focus of the adjustments, in order to cushion the impact of more expensive fuel.
Already in the first six months, the Middle East conflict led consumers to show some restraint. During this period, flights were often booked at a later date. Ryanair pointed to both short-term demand inhibitions and persistently high raw material costs.
