A thunderstorm cell devastated the Thangelstedt district of the town of Blankenhain in the Weimarer Land district on Tuesday, damaging several buildings and roofs without harming any people.
On Tuesday, a severe thunderstorm cell moved across the Blankenhain district of Thangelstedt. Several buildings and roofs were damaged, according to the German Weather Service (DWD) and the town. According to reports, no one was injured.
Focus on riding hall
A riding hall was particularly affected, with half of its roof torn off, according to the emergency services. Other buildings in the district also suffered damage to roofs and facades. Debris was scattered across adjacent areas, including the area of a playground, according to reports.
