In a Ukrainian drone attack on the state-owned Rosneft refinery in Syzran in Russia's Samara region, one person was killed and three others injured, including a child, according to official figures; the facility had to halt operations.

The refinery in Syzran was no longer operational after the strike on Saturday night, according to Russian regional sources. Governor Vyacheslav Fedorishchev confirmed the damage and stated verbatim: "Es gebe Schäden an Wohnhäusern und an einem Industrieobjekt". He also said "mehrere Brände ausgebrochen" and "In der Anlage sind mehrere große Brände zu sehen". The independent online platform Astra analyzed images and videos from social networks and also identified the industrial facility hit as the oil refinery in Syzran. "Wie russische Online-Medien berichten, wurde eine Anlage in Sysran in der Region Samara südöstlich von Moskau getroffen".
According to Governor Fedorishchev, "Drei Personen wurden verletzt, darunter auch ein Kind"; later, official sources spoke of one fatality in the Samara region on the Volga. This brings the toll from the drone attack to at least one dead and three injured, including a minor. The Russian military, meanwhile, said that during the night "Das russische Militär hat eigenen Angaben nach in der Nacht 349 ukrainische Drohnen abgeschossen".
