Abu Dhabi, 01 July 2026

The Austrian football professional Valentino Lazaro has moved on a free transfer to Al-Ain FC in the United Arab Emirates after his contract with FC Turin expired, where he was presented on Wednesday.

As the data on his profile shows, the 30-year-old's contract with the Italian top-flight club FC Turin ran out on 30 June 2026. After four years in Turin — one of them on loan — Lazaro joined Al-Ain FC, based in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi. The Styrian thus moves from the Italian Serie A to the UAE Pro League.

On Wednesday, the former Berlin and Mönchengladbach Bundesliga professional was presented at Al-Ain FC, twice winners of the AFC Champions League. The transfer is free of charge; it is the first move in his career in which no fee was paid. His current market value is listed at €2.50 million.
