Vienna has made it into the Top Ten of the QS ranking of the best cities for students, claiming ninth place.
The Austrian capital Vienna has placed itself among the top ten in the current QS ranking of the best student cities, reaching ninth place. This puts Vienna ahead of Tokyo and London, which also count among the frontrunners. According to the higher education analytics company Quacquarelli Symonds (QS), Vienna stands out primarily through a combination of high quality of life and favorable study conditions.
The ranking compiled by the higher education analytics company Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) drew on 23 indicators across six categories, supplemented by a survey among students themselves. The evaluated categories include quality of life (including safety, air pollution, healthcare), affordability, employment situation, and student mix. Vienna scores strongly in several areas at once.
