The Volunteer Fire Brigade Krenstetten in the Amstetten district rescued two bulls weighing approximately 750 kilograms from a slurry pit on Sunday, after the animals had broken through a slatted floor into an agricultural operation.
The Volunteer Fire Brigade Krenstetten in the Lower Austrian district of Amstetten responded to a complex large-animal rescue on Sunday. According to the Amstetten District Fire Brigade Command, two bulls at an agricultural operation had broken through the slatted floor of a barn and fallen into the slurry pit below. "Zwei rund 750 Kilogramm schwere Stiere waren in einem landwirtschaftlichen Betrieb durch einen Spaltboden eingebrochen und mussten aus der darunterliegenden Güllegrube gerettet werden," the statement read.
