A young person, who is alleged to have attacked a Jewish man with a knife in Zurich, has been convicted by the Higher Court of the Canton of Zurich, among other things, of supporting a criminal and terrorist organization, and is now appealing the verdict.
The case has occupied the Zurich judiciary for months. According to information from the case files, the Higher Court found the young person guilty of, among other things, supporting a criminal and terrorist organization, multiple depictions of violence, trespass, unsettling the population, multiple instances of incitement to hatred or discrimination, as well as actual discrimination. The lower instance at the Youth Court in Dielsdorf ZH had already issued an initial verdict against the accused, which was now reviewed and confirmed by the Higher Court.
