After a heavy Russian drone and missile attack on Kyiv, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has called on NATO for more help with air defense. According to him, at least eleven people were killed in the attack and around 60 others were injured.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyj has appealed to NATO following a heavy Russian drone and missile attack on Kyiv to adopt strong decisions at the summit in Ankara to strengthen Ukraine's air defense.

Scale of the attack

Following the heavy Russian drone and missile attack on Kyiv, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has called on NATO for more assistance with air defense. The attack occurred one day before the start of the NATO summit in Turkey and hit the Ukrainian capital and surrounding areas with one of the heaviest waves in weeks.
