A 64-year-old car driver from the district of Baden crashed off the road and into a tree on state road L163 in Lower Austria on Saturday afternoon. The man succumbed to his severe injuries at the scene of the accident, despite the rapid response of the emergency medical helicopter Christophorus 9.

A 64-year-old car driver from the district of Baden was killed on Saturday afternoon on state road L163 in the district of Bruck an der Leitha, after his vehicle left the road and slammed head-on into a tree.

As the police have now confirmed, the 64-year-old succumbed to his severe injuries at the scene of the accident. As a police spokesperson announced on Monday, the man had left the L163 with his car on Saturday afternoon and crashed into a tree.

A tragic traffic accident claimed a life on Saturday afternoon in the district of Bruck an der Leitha (Lower Austria). A 64-year-old car driver from the district of Baden was traveling on the L163 at around 2:20 p.m., coming from the direction of Sarasdorf toward Götzendorf.
