Three Dead in Motorcycle Crashes on Lower Austrian Roads

The Mannersdorfer Straße runs through a predominantly rural area in the district of Baden. According to emergency services, the road section was dry at the time of the crash. Witnesses were asked to contact the police to help reconstruct the exact sequence of events.

Investigations into the Cause of the Crash

Second Crash on the A21

Rescue service helpers, including teams from the Christophorus organization, were deployed with several vehicles. Despite rapid assistance, nothing more could be done for the three victims. The responsible fire departments and police stations secured the crash sites.

The identities of the three deceased were released after the completion of police investigations and after notification of next of kin. A son of one of the victims was cared for by emergency services. The public prosecutor's office examined whether third-party fault could be ruled out.

The responsible district police commands of Eisenstadt-Umgebung, Baden, and Bruck an der Leitha asked the public for information regarding the incidents. The vehicles of those involved were also seized and subjected to technical examination.

With rising temperatures and the end of the travel season, motorcycle traffic on Lower Austrian routes is noticeably increasing. Police announced increased controls on accident-prone sections to further enhance safety on the roads.
