Vienna police have arrested two Georgian citizens, aged 42 and 39, who are allegedly responsible for a series of burglaries involving acid in several Viennese districts.
The arrests were carried out, according to a police spokesperson who provided information to the APA, after the two men had already been under surveillance for some time. Those arrested are a 42-year-old and a 39-year-old Georgian.
According to the available information, the burglary series stretched across several Viennese districts. Named among them are Wieden, Meidling, Döbling, Wien-Landstraße, Margareten, and Favoriten. In all of the named districts, incidents involving acid occurred.
