Ukrainian drone attacks hit Russia's largest oil refinery in Omsk on Sunday, knocking out 75 percent of its production capacity according to the Reuters news agency, triggering an acute fuel shortage in several Russian regions.
Sunday's Ukrainian drone strikes in West Siberian Omsk have shut down 75 percent of production capacity there, according to Reuters. "38 percent is likely to be out of action long-term due to severe damage to a facility that caught fire," Reuters reports further. The Omsk refinery is considered Russia's largest oil refinery and, according to Reuters, produces eight percent of Russian fuel — an outage that further worsens the country's already strained supply situation.
