The Hessian state parliament in Wiesbaden passed a new Procurement and Collective Bargaining Compliance Act on Thursday with the votes of the governing coalition parties CDU and SPD. The law is intended to make it easier for municipalities to invest more quickly in infrastructure.
The new Procurement and Collective Bargaining Compliance Act is meant to give investments in Hessian infrastructure a boost. The amendment, which includes several simplifications for the awarding of public contracts, was passed in the state parliament in Wiesbaden with the votes of the governing coalition parties CDU and SPD. The new regulation is intended to enable counties, cities, and municipalities to invest the funds from the federal government's debt-financed special fund more easily and more quickly in urgent infrastructure projects.
