Hungary: Péter Magyar nominates chess grandmaster Judit Polgár as president

Magyar emphasized the cross-party character of the initiative in his statement. The election of such a personality could send a signal regarding the appreciation of achievement and education in Hungary, the prime minister wrote. The formal nomination procedure is to be initiated following the meeting planned for Monday.
