An investigation coordinated by the Milan Anti-Mafia Prosecutor's Office led to the dismantling of an Italo-Albanian drug trafficking network that distributed narcotics in tourist towns along the Adriatic, with seizures valued at approximately 1.1 million euros.
The operation, carried out by police units under the direction of the Milan Anti-Mafia Prosecutor's Office, extended to several coastal towns along the Adriatic and to areas in the Italian interior. The main points of intervention included Lignano Sabbiadoro, Bibione, Jesolo, Caorle, and Adria, as well as localities linked to the logistical chain such as Sistiana, Latisana, and Milan itself, where the organization's activities are suspected to have been coordinated.
