Sunday unfolded differently for Sandro Kopp. The second ÖTV player in the qualifying draw lost in the second qualifying round to Switzerland's Kilian Feldbauch 0-6, 4-6. Kopp thus missed out on the main draw by a wide margin.

The Generali Open in Kitzbühel are one of the most tradition-rich ATP tournaments in Austria. The clay-court event is classified as ATP 250 and regularly attracts players from the European top tier.

For Rodionov, this year's main draw is more than just another tournament appearance.
